At Mansfield-Petra School, we run an integrated curriculum – The British and The Nigerian curriculum. The curriculum ensures that teaching and learning are balanced and consistent.
The school encourages pupil to join various clubs and societies that will enhance their academic and social wellbeing. We therefore encourage the following.
Our students are introduced to the Literacy and debating club which is very helpful in building their confidence.

Every parent is always apprehensive when it's time to return to work after childbirth. The decision of where and in whose care to put their babies is an important one. Our creche is a beautiful "home away from home". It's a large unit with enough space for crawling and learning to walk. The staff in the creche are dedicated to their role as care givers. With loving arms and heart the babies are nursed and cared for. We provide a comfortable and conducive environment for our babies safety.
This arm of the school cares for children between the ages of 13 months and 18 months. For many of these children. It's the first time they are leaving home and it's important the school provides the comfort and assurances of safety and happiness. It's our preparatory class, where we encourage the children to be aware of who they are. we introduce them to their environment through rhymes, songs, video sessions, reading time. etc. It is always fun to be in the pre-school class.
Our Nursery and Reception section is where we cater for the educational needs of children from 2 to 5 years. Our classes are graded as follows Nursery One (18 months - 30 Months) Nursery Two (2 Years and 6 Months) Reception One (3 Years and 6 Months) Reception Two (4 Years and 6 Months) At this age the teaching approach is child-centered. We provide activities which helps to develop the children's full potential.
Our primary section is driven by a curriculum that is of international standard. Through topics and themes, Our Primary school pupils are introduced to concepts and skills that will enhance their ability to compete amongst the best in the larger community and put to use the skills learnt in school. We have Lower Primary 1-3 Upper Primary 4-6 Our Primary pupils are ensured to have developed proper skills in core subjects like literacy and Numeracy that form a solid foundation for smooth transition to the secondary school.
